Green Energy Mission - GEM

GEM is a major initiative of the National Alliance of NGOs for development and Innovation "NANDI" to promote ecologically sustainable growth while addressing India's energy and water security challenge. It is an ambitious project towards energy conservation, promotion of Green Energy, Water Conservations, Safe Drinking water etc.

It also targets to combat energy crisis which is the major concern of modern industrial society. The main factors of energy crisis are Overconsumption, Overpopulation, Poor Infrastructure, Unexplored Renewable Energy Options, Delay in Commissioning of Power Plants, Wastage of Energy, Poor Distribution System, Major Accidents and Natural Calamities, Wars and Attacks etc. To combat this crisis it is required to Move towards Renewable Resources and use Energy Efficient products. Under this project organization has targeted to promote energy saving practices by distributing LED Bulbs, Solar Lanterns and Energy efficient Chullhas which are eco-friendly in nature.

It also target to combat water crisis a burning issue of world. Water is an essential component of life and backbone of all types of development whether it is agriculture, industrial or infrastructure development. Its crisis will lead to all types of developmental crisis.

There are two main category of water crisis Scarcity and pollution. To solve this problem organization has decided to distribute water flow management system, promote rain water harvesting and develop affordable filtration unit.

Under this program NGO's are invited to become member of "NANDI" and participate as social alliance of Green Energy Club. Manufacturing and service providing industries are also invited to become corporate member of Green Energy Club.
